Dress Expectations
DRESS EXPECTATIONS
Scholars should dress comfortably to engage in day-to-day classroom activities. Clothing that is disruptive to the learning environment will not be permitted.
- Wear clothing in the manner it is intended to be worn (button, fastened, tied).
- Shoes must be worn at all times. All sandals must have a backstrap for safety purposes. Students must wear shoes that are appropriate for physical activities.
- Pants are to be worn at the waist at all times.
- Hats and sunglasses may be worn but outdoors only.
- All clothing must be sufficient to conceal undergarments at all times. Shorts and skirts must go to the student’s mid-thigh. Tops must cover a student’s back and stomach.
- All clothing shall be within the bounds of decency and good taste as appropriate for school.
- Students who are not following these guidelines will be asked to phone a parent/guardian to get a change
of clothing.
